Streamplay’s Noodlecake Prepares for the Highly Anticipated Launch of Super Flappy Golf!

Streamplay Studio Limited (“Streamplay” or the “Company”) (ASX: SP8) is excited to announce that pre-orders for Super Flappy Golf, the long-anticipated third instalment in the popular franchise by its wholly-owned subsidiary Noodlecake Studios Ltd (“Noodlecake”), are now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Since its founding in 2011, Noodlecake has built a reputation for developing and publishing games that resonate with players, earning over 270 million downloads across mobile, PC, and console platforms. Its flagship series, Stickman Golf, showcased the studio’s creativity and ability to engage players globally. Building on this momentum, Flappy Golf 2 continued the success, amassing an additional 9 million organic downloads after its release as a reskin of Super Stickman Golf 3. Retention rates for Flappy Golf 2 showcased its strong engagement metrics, with a Day 1 retention rate of ~46%, Day 7 retention of ~25%, and Day 28 retention of ~10%, all significantly above industry averages. 

These figures highlight the series’ ability to maintain player interest and drive long-term engagement. Combined, the Flappy Golf series has generated over US$1 million in revenue (~A$1.6M) for the studio after platform fee deductions, a testament to its strong market appeal and enduring engagement.

Praised for its unique and addictive gameplay by outlets like Touch Arcade and Pocket Gamer, these titles demonstrated Noodlecake’s expertise in combining simplicity with depth to appeal to a wide audience. The viral nature of these games highlights the studio’s ability to drive organic engagement and establish long-term player loyalty.

Looking Ahead
